Patricia Callan in collaboration with composer Yoko Nakatani, wrote the book for The Adventures of John Manjiro, a narrated suite of piano pieces widely performed throughout the United States. Her poetry has been published in Candelabrum (U.K.), The Lyric, Tapestries, Red Lights (haiku) The Poet’s Touchstone and The Powow River Anthology. A frequent participant in the Newburyport Literary Festival, she was a choral director and voice coach before becoming a writer.
