Margaret Ohrn’s poems have appeared in The Raven Review, The Midwest Quarterly, The South Florida Poetry Journal, The Burlington Review, The Anthology of New England Writers, and the anthology Blackberry Picking, Lyrical Voices From Vermont.

She is an active member of the Grub Street Writing Center, the Puddingstone Poets, and the monthly poetry workshops of Alfred Nicol. She co-founded the Londonderry Poets from Vermont. She has participated in the Frost Farm Poetry Conference since 2019 and was invited to become a Powow poet in 2023.

She regularly likes to read her poetry at local venues such as the Bluebird Performance Venue in Byfield, MA and the Walnut Street Café in Lynn, MA. As an elementary school teacher, she has organized student poetry workshops with local poets and held community readings for students.
