David Davis
David Davis was a member of the Powow River Poets from 2005-2020. He served as the Poet-in-Residence at the Joppa Flats Massachusetts Audubon Center for four years and served as a volunteer at Joppa Flats from 2003. A Newbury, Massachusetts resident, he worked as a surveyor, teacher, philosophy professor, and artificial intelligence researcher. A short story, which appeared in Isaac Asimov’s Science Fiction Magazine published under the name D.D. Storm, has been anthologized and translated into multiple languages. Davis read frequently at the Newburyport Literary Festival. He co-founded two high-tech companies, and edited and wrote four books and more than forty papers in his area of technical expertise.
